What We Care About
Companies who are serious in wanting to make a difference in their communities, whilst still making a profit, have shown that having a Social Purpose at the core of the company meets the needs of their customers, their team, the community and shareholders.
At AusMed Health, we believe passionately that having a Social Purpose ensures that the business can benefit the community. We aim to create a better world by the very act of conducting business and to be a positive force in society. Social Purpose is much more than Corporate Social Responsibility in that it is embedded into our operational and strategic decision making.
We demonstrate this commitment through the following initiatives:

Sedex is a membership organisation that provides one of the world’s leading online platforms for companies to manage and improve working conditions in global supply chains, they provide practical tools, services and a community network to help companies improve their responsible and sustainable business practices, and source responsibly. Members of the Sedex are businesses that believe every person working in the supply chain should have equality, a safe place to work, and the means to support themselves and their families, free of bribery and corruption, using sustainable methods that keep the environment intact for future generations. Sedex members are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
AusMed Health is also proudly accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia (ECA). Ethical Clothing Australia (ECA) is an accreditation body that works collaboratively with local textile, clothing and footwear (TCF) businesses to protect and uphold the rights of Australian garment workers. To be ECA accredited, a business’s manufacturing operations are audited from design to dispatch to ensure that local TCF workers, including outworkers, are being paid appropriately, receiving all their legal entitlements and working in safe conditions. By supporting an ECA accredited business AusMed Health is helping to strengthen the Australian TCF industry and valuing the rights of our local garment workers.
